The Lumière festival launches its first ever DVD Publishers' Fair in Lyon, open to everyone. It’s a unique opportunity for direct contact between video editors and movie buffs. Ten DVD publishers will present and sell their collection, a great chance to uncover new releases, rarities and major classics.

Throughout the day, you can find new titles, rare films, blockbusters, box sets and big classics. Then at 3 pm, a fascinating conference on the future of the DVD/ Blu-ray sector, open both to professionals and the general public.

Participating publishers: Carlotta Films, ESC Editions, Malavida, Potemkine, Coin de Mire, Prelight, Artus Films, Doriane Films.

Every year, cinema catalogists, distributors and video editors get together with professionals to announce their upcoming releases. For the first time, the Lumière festival invites the public to discover these images. Didier Allouch, Canal + correspondent in the United States, presents an exclusive look at the trailers of the forthcoming film and video releases by Pathé, Gaumont, Carlotta Films, Malavida, Splendro and Mary-X.

A must for festivalgoers, the DVD market features more than 4,500 DVD and Blu-ray titles, including films on the 2019 festival lineup. Located in the heart of the festival village in Park Lumière, it is open from Saturday 12 to Sunday 20 October, from 10:30 am to 9 pm.
